		<description>It&#039;s good to see an Old Master painting receive some news in the press that doesn&#039;t have to do with it being stolen.

I was able to view the Wattaeu in person, along with the rest of the auction. In my opinion, the Wattaeu was equal to many that are currently in the Wallace Collection (London). However, overall, the auction at Christie&#039;s was inferior to the Old Masters auction up the street at Sotheby&#039;s.

The gem of the Sotheby&#039;s show, a piece by Frans Hals, was unbelievable. I&#039;d take it over the Watteau any day.</description>
