The Christie’s-owned Haunch of Venison Gallery has announced that it will close both its Chelsea and London galleries, and will focus exclusively on the secondary market. While Christie’s owner Francois Pinault has not commented, some speculate that the galleries were never intended to be permanent in the first place.
