Artist James Turrell appeared last week on Charlie Rose’s talk show, in promotion of his blockbuster exhibitions at the Guggenheim, LACMA, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Speaking on his installation at the Guggenheim, his practice and his view on the creating and execution of his work. “Ideas and thoughts are cheap, you can have many of them, but it’s actually pulling these things off and realizing them.
