A new German task-force, the Stiftung Deutsches Zentrum Kulturgutverluste (German Lost Art Foundation), will take over investigations on the provenance of the Cornelius Gurlitt art trove. “Our research will be sound, efficient and above all transparent,” says co-director Uwe Schneede. “Research has been done consistently and professionally.
