The Canadian government has earmarked a major cash injection for national arts organizations, including the CBC, and a near doubling of the Canada Council’s $182 million budget. “It’s a game changer,” says Simon Brault, director and CEO of the Canada Council. “We can begin writing a new chapter on the artistic and cultural history of this country.”
