Brazil Looks Abroad to Sustain Market Strength

The Art Newspaper looks at the grim state of Brazil’s art market, as its economy continues to struggle, and notes the hope dealers and artists are placing on foreign collectors to sustain its growth.  “There has been a growing interest in artists from the so-called ‘peripheries’ over the past ten years,” says Maria Quiroga, director of São Paulo’s Galeria Luisa Strina.
