The New York Times has a profile on Thelma Golden this week, as the Studio Museum head steers the institution towards its new home on 125th Street. “What she has done is to simultaneously foreground the Harlem-ness in Studio Museum but also enabled it to become a national institution,” says MoMA Director Glenn Lowry.
