Laura Copelin, associate curator at Ballroom Marfa, will take over the West Texas center’s leadership as executive director. “Marfa really seems to be a beacon,” Copelin told ARTnews. “It’s been a transformative experience, being on the edge of these centers of the art world of New York and Los Angeles.”
