Yinka Shonibare is interviewed in The Guardian this week, as the artist unveils a new sculpture near Central Park that speaks to the global plight of immigrants. “It’s a simple equation,” Shonibare says. “You want to be safe, warm and clothed and looked after. Therefore it’s natural you should want that for other people.”
