Jenny Holzer gets a profile in New York Magazine this week, reviewing her recent work and her approach towards creating her bracing, direct brand of text art. “I have made much of my work sex-blind and anonymous so that it wouldn’t be dismissed as the work of a woman,” she says. “I don’t want to be looked at or dismissed, or even attract anybody, as a female.”
