Artist Amy Sherald, who was tapped to create the official portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama has erected a massive mural in Philadelphia, showing local resident Najee Spencer-Young. “Given Philadelphia’s cultural landscape, I think it’s important to also have that diversity represented within its visual landscape,” she said.
