The National Portrait Gallery in London has purchased a postcard-sized portrait of Queen Elizabeth I for the price of  £329,000.  Thought to be by renowned miniature painter Isaac Oliver, the piece will be part of a show of portraits depicting the Queen and her courtiers, opening this October.
