An auction at Sotheby’s Hong Kong location has set a new record for the highest selling Asian contemporary artwork, after painter Zeng Fanzhi’s The Last Supper achieved a $23.3 million final price, more than doubling its estimate. Â It sold as part of an evening contemporary art auction that achieved an impressive total of $145 million in sales.
