Continuing his advocacy on Lesbos, Ai Weiwei is creating a work of art from over 14,000 life jackets, in an attempt to bring attention to the crimes committed by people smugglers in the Aegean.  “This work aims to mobilize the global community regarding the crime carried out daily in the Aegean by ruthless people smugglers,†a statement reads.
