The LA Times takes a tour of the soon to open Hauser Wirth and Schimmel Gallery in the former downtown Los Angeles Pillsbury flour mill complex.  “I would say that the model is in some way the Kunsthalle — the noncollecting art museum,” says partner Paul Schimmel. “But also foundations, who are really at the boundaries of what they do: commissioning works, creating group shows, doing education work.”
