Public artworks surrounding the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio have been cancelled following budgeting cuts, the Art Newspaper reports. Â Italian artist Giancarlo Neri’s installation was chief among the cancellations, described by the Brazilian government as “adjustments so that the principles of administrative efficiency and public spending are respected.”
