Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art is spending $500,000 to restore Wolf Vostell’s concrete encrusted Cadillac sculpture, a piece which has long sat in a yard lot until the museum decided to rehabilitate its blocky frame.   “Restoration and conservation is what we do, but I’d never done a project like this,â€says Stephen Murphy, the general manager of Chicago Vintage Motor Carriage, where the car was restored.
