The U.S. Congress has passed the Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery Act, which will standardize the statute of limitations for legal claims against looted art.  “Artwork lost during the Holocaust is not just property,” Republican Texas senator John Cornyn says. “To many victims…it is a reminder of the vanished world of their families.”
