New York’s Salon 94 gallery is embarking on a new design program called Salon 94 Design, and will begin exhibiting shows exploring forward-thinking and historically relevant design works.  “Design has a participatory way of communicating with us—it’s very, very direct,†says Gallery director Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn. “You automatically know that a chair is to be sat in, so there’s already a dialogue.”
