Germany’s Kunsthalle Mannheim opens this week, following a large donation towards expansions from software billionaire Hans-Werner Hector. “The enthusiasm and excitement of the public has surprised us,” says Ulrike Lorenz, the Kunsthalle Mannheim’s director.
