Norah Stone, the Bay Area philanthropist and art collector who has long ranked on the ARTnews Top 200 Collectors list, has died at the age of 81. “The Stones really wanted to know what was happening in the world now. They loved the unusual art that paved new territory, and asked provocative and compelling questions,†says longtime advisor Thea Westreich.
