Guggenheim Furloughs Employees, Cuts Benefits Due to Budget Shortfall

The Guggenheim is facing a $10 million budget shortfall, resulting in announced furloughs and cuts to employee benefits. “The near- and long-term financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Museum’s fiscal well-being is profound,” says director Richard Armstrong. “This decision did not come easily.”
