The New Museum workers union staged an action this week around its ongoing contract negotiations, handing out leaflets and buttons outside the museum. “We’re trying to work within the museum’s means and not ask for anything ludicrous,†says Francesca Altamura, a curatorial assistant at the New Museum.Â
