If you haven’t seen Frank Stella’s first solo exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art yet, you still have some time. Weather permitting, the artist’s sculptures will be on the rooftop of the Museum through October 28th.

Fantastic sculpture – Could you forward my email address to Stella please. Just been spending time researching and a few other jobs in the US for a while – met an old friend in NYC who told me some great stories about Gore Vidal – one happened while Gore was in Italy – his agent, whom he shared with Capote, telephoned him to let him know that Capote had died. The agent called and Vidal answered the call. The agent said: “Capote has died.” There was a long pause on the other end of the line and then Vidal said; “Good career move.” and hung up. He is a character – no? JanW.
