NYC Fall Art Season Starts, Be Prepared

It’s September, which means New York City’s Fall art season will be in full swing beginning this Thursday the 6th. With over 80 openings on Thursday alone, Chelsea will be a madhouse from 5pm – 9pm, not to mention the burgeoning art scene on the Lower East Side. Next weekend be sure to stop by The Kitchen High Line Block Party, Saturday September 15th 12-5 pm. The Kitchen and Friends of the High Line collaborate on their eighth annual neighborhood street fair. West 19th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues will be transformed into a unique cacophony of artists installations, activity booths, crafts, spectacles and “artist-led activities.”
