Their current location is an old industrial site in South Milan. The new complex will contain an exhibition building, auditorium, and tower. This will allow them to display more artists and host festivals, theater performances, symposia and lectures on the arts. The new design is to accommodate Prada’s increasing need of space to house both permanent and temporary shows, as well as expand into different focuses. There are plans for the Prada Foundation to work more closely with other museums such as Tate, in hopes to cover all disciplines.
