The Museum of Modern Art announced that it will open to the public every day, beginning in May 2013. The Museum’s director, Glenn Lowry, said that it was a response to growing attendance, which has almost doubled since the museum expanded eight years ago. The museum now receives up to 3 million visitors annually.
