Painter Graham Ovenden has been jailed for 2 years and three months, following an appeals court ruling that his prior, non-custodial sentence was “unduly lenient.” Â Ovenden was convicted in April of sexual abuse against children. Â “Graham Ovenden committed terrible sexual offences against vulnerable young girls who were in his charge and ought to have felt safe. He manipulated them and abused his position of trust.” Â Says Attorney General Dominic Grieve.
