Paul Gauguin’s Te Fare (La maison) will lead Christie’s Impressionist and Modern Evening Sale this March in London, carrying a £12 million estimate.  “Gauguin has increasingly simplified and monumentalized the landscape, transcending reality by turning the natural world into a mystic vision of color, line and form,” a statement reads.
