Curator Christine Macel is interviewed in the New York Times this week, as she prepares to open this year’s Venice Biennale.  “To me, art is linked with all dimensions of life,” she says. “People think art will save the world.  I don’t think art will save the world, but it’s saved a lot of lives.â€
