Alice Walton Identified as Buyer of Record-Setting Rauschenberg

Collector and Wal-Mart heir Alice Walton is reportedly the purchaser of Robert Rauschenberg’s silkscreen work Buffalo II (1964), which sold for a record-setting $88.8 million at Christie’s in New York this past month. The news was broken by reporter Jeremy Hodkin’s newsletter, Canvas.
