British Court Orders Sotheby’s Repaid for Disputed Work Sold for $10.8 Million

A British court has ruled that Sotheby’s is due repayment for a disputed Frans Hals work, which originally sold for $10.8 million before being declared a fake.  “We were glad to see our position completely vindicated by the court,” a representative for Sotheby’s says.
