Jeff Koons employs everyday imagery, pop culture references, and art historical iconography sourced from magazines, archival material and product packaging. The lively compositions were digitally collaged and then hand-transferred in oil paint onto the canvases. Through this process, Koons engaged with pastiche to comment on the repetition of the Art market. This critical perspective is a cornerstone of Koons’ practice, positioning him as a pivotal figure in contemporary discourse on art and commerce.

The exhibition is classically Koons but with a twist, his use of a range of iconography proves his versatility and multifaceted identity and his approachable yet thought-provoking art has cemented his status among the modern art giants. This exhibition at Skarstedt’s London Gallery is a testament to Jeff Koons’ enduring influence and innovative spirit.
