Theaster Gates has won the $100K Nasher Prize for Sculpture, the Dallas News reports. “He’s an exceptional artist,” says Jeremy Strick, director of the Nasher Sculpture Center. “He’s an artist who, like the previous two laureates, continues to push the boundaries and the understanding of sculpture.”
