Hirst at The Palms, via LA TimesDamien Hirst’s preserved shark in formaldehyde has been installed above the bar at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. “That’s the whole point of art in general,” manager John Gay says. “It evokes different emotions. That’s something we’re excited about with the whole collection. Art is personal. We like that it stirs different reactions and attention.”
