One of the few surviving Merzbau by Kurt Schwitters is set for installation at The Romsdal Museum in Molde, Norway. The work was transferred from its location in a barn in Hjerteoya, several miles south of the city. “It was a very complicated process,” says art historian Karin Hellandsjo. “Only one photograph from Schwitters’s time exists, depicting a corner of the barn.”
