May 20th, 2026
Installation view of My Bed by Tracey Emin. An unmade bed with tangled white sheets sits in a dark gallery space, surrounded by personal objects scattered across a blue rug, including bottles, tissues and clothing. Above the bed, a white neon text work glows against the black wall.

Tate Modern’s Tracey Emin: A Second Life is on view until the 31st of August 2026. The exhibition traces 40 years of practise, showing canonical works alongside pieces never exhibited before. Through textiles, neons, paintings, video and installations, Emin turns her experience into objects.
