Foundry owner arrested for allegedly selling fake Jasper Johns

The owner of a foundry used by Jasper Johns has been arrested for trying to sell a fake version of the artist’s sculpture, Flag. Authorities say that Brian Ramnarine created the cast for the piece but did not return the mold, and 20 years later tried to sell a bronze piece created from that mold without John’s knowledge and that he faked a signature.
