An Indian artist was briefly detained this week in Jaipur, after unveiling a work depicting a cow hanging suspended in mid-air, a work that some Hindu viewers found offensive.  The local police chief who ordered the detainment has been “removed and I have spoken to the artist personally,” Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje says.
