Stephanie D’Alessandro has been named The Met’s new Leonard A. Lauder Curator of Modern Art. D’Alessandro previously worked in a similar position at the Art Institute of Chicago. She will take over for Rebecca Rabinow, who left for Houston’s Menil Collection.
