Michel Houellebecq’s Photographs Profiled in New Yorker

Writer and artist Michel Houellebecq is profiled in the New Yorker this week, as the artist opens his new show of photographs at Venus Over Manhattan.  “I don’t take pictures of human beings, because I prefer literature for describing a human being,” he says. “And I don’t do much description of the landscape in my books, because I find that a photo is better.”Read more at New Yorker
