Nan Goldin Leads Protest Against Opiod Addiction at The Met

Nan Goldin was at the forefront of a protest at The Met this week, calling attention to the money donated to The Met by the Sackler family, who profited heavily from the sale of the highly addictive OxyContin painkiller.  Goldin kicked a deep addiction to the drug over the last three years. “We are artists, activists, addicts,” she shouted during the protest. “We are fed up.”
