Ai Weiwei to Install Massive Fence Sculptures for New Public Art Fund Commission this Fall in NYC

Ai Weiwei will return to New York this fall for a major public art project,  Good Fences Make Good Neighbors, a piece commissioned by the Public Art Fund that will see massive gold fence sculptures spread around the city.  “This is the most ambitious that we’ve undertaken since I’ve been here,” says director and curator Nicholas Baume. “Certainly, it’s the most distributed throughout the city.”
