The German state has announced that it will be investigating mass plunder of art works by the East German secret police during the Cold War, the Art Newspaper reports.  “It is important to remember that this is a Germany-wide problem,” says Uwe Schneede, an honorary executive board member of the German Lost Art Foundation. Read more at Art Newspaper
