Members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union have expressed solidarity with Ahdaf Soueif over the author’s resignation from the British Museum board of trustees over its BP funding and other issues. The letter claims that BP “is allowed to propagate the myth that, without its existence, we would not have access to the collections of our publicly funded museums and galleries.”
