The Brooklyn Museum has embarked on an ambitious rehang of its galleries, including a changing focus on Egypt as an African empire, and changed selections for the European galleries. “It’s very rare to have two encyclopedic museums in one city,” Director Anne Pasternak. “We get to be something different.”
